Joelle
Deroy and Jean Nestares share a passion for art. They
also share a lifetime of moving from place to place. Both
lived in New York. Both live in Paris now, in the same
neighborhood. Their artistic expression took them in fascinatingly
different directions.
Change and vitality are at the core of Deroy's current
art work. Her show and installation are centered around
the Eiffel Tower, in a variety of medium including -for
the first time- photographs.
As Nestares states: " New York City has always captivated
me: nothing moves as quickly, as vibrantly, as uniquely
as Manhattan. It feels so natural for me to show for the
first time my cities in movement theme in New York, the
birthplace of my inspiration."
Come and explore their work at the Ceres Gallery 547W
27th street in New York City from December 15th to the
19th. |
